Roll shipping packaging protects a roll on the truck or in the container: it stops the roll from moving, protects the edges and the core, and lets rolls be stacked. Nailed wooden battens do this badly: they shift, the nails can reach the material, and wood adds ISPM-15 treatment for export.
This collection contains nail-free alternatives in plastic and cardboard: KU10 wedges, which fix to the pallet without nails; end walls and end pads with 3" or 6" plugs (FL series); core plugs PL-01 and PL-07; cardboard cradle bases and interlayers for two to six rolls (PC series); and the adjustable PCU-80 cardboard stacker. ISPM-15 applies to wood packaging, not to plastic or cardboard. Recycled and recyclable options are available.
