The problem
Rolls shipped inside cardboard boxes face a different problem from suspended storage: edge compression. The roll's own weight, pressed against the box wall, damages the first layer of film, paper or foil.
What's needed is a lightweight flange — protective edge support without the bulk of warehouse flanges — designed specifically for in-box roll protection.
What FL-51-76 is
FL-51-76 — Light plastic pad 220×220 mm. Plug 76 mm.
Lightweight flanges designed to protect rolls stored inside boxes. They prevent edge damage and avoid film compression against box walls. Made of PP and supplied with plugs for 76.5 mm and 112 mm inner core diameters.
