RECYCLO — Reel Core Stripper Machine, Recovers Cores, Strips Residual Film/Paper

End-of-Life Reel Recovery

(1 products)

End-of-life recovery, also called end-of-reel recovery, is the removal of the material left on a core when a reel is finished, so that the core and the material can each be reused or recycled. Done by hand with a knife it is slow and risky, and core and material end up mixed in the waste.

This collection contains RECYCLO, the core stripper machine co-developed by ROLL with GA.VO. Meccanica. The operator loads the reel and enters the core wall thickness and the cut depth. The machine cuts the residual material: film, paper laminate or aluminium falls onto a carriage as a separate fraction, and the core comes out intact. It takes reels up to 600 mm in diameter, 1500 mm long and 150 kg. Throughput depends on the material and the wound quantity; ask for an assessment on your reels.
