Part of the ROLL FLANGE series

The problem

Plastic plugs are the small parts that hold the suspended-flange system together. Choose the wrong plug and the whole roll falls.

What's needed is a plug rated for heavy load suspension, deep enough to anchor inside the core, durable enough for hundreds of cycles.

What PL-07 is

PL-07 — Plastic end plug for 6-inch (152 mm) roll cores. Heavy-duty, supports up to 1250 kg.

Plug designed for 6-inch flange systems. Its exceptional strength allows suspended storage of rolls up to 1250 kg. The plug fits 165 mm deep inside the core for maximum stability and reinforcement.

Dimensions: 152×165 mm. Weight per unit: 0.63 kg. Material: HDPE.

Why it works

Heavy-load suspension support. Rated 1250 kg per plug. Deep core insertion for maximum anchoring stability.

Universal flange compatibility. Fits the full ROLL FLANGE system for 3-inch and 6-inch cores. Standard part across the catalog.

Durable plastic construction. Resistant to repeated insertion-removal cycles. Long service life across hundreds of shipments.

Where it fits

PL-07 is built for:

  • Roll producers shipping packaged film, foil, paper — suspended storage and stacked transport
  • Aluminium and metal coil converters — protection of delicate edge layers
  • Pharma and food roll packaging — clean alternative to wooden flanges
  • Textile roll operations — multi-roll horizontal packaging held together by flanges

This is a variant of the base model in the same family.

Frequently asked questions

Q: How are PL-07 flanges installed on a roll?
A: Flanges are pressed onto the core ends, supported by a plug (when included). The flange pair holds the roll suspended off the floor for stacking and storage.

Q: Are flanges reusable?
A: Yes. Plastic flanges are designed for multi-cycle service — typically dozens of cycles in standard handling conditions, much longer than wooden alternatives.

About the ROLL FLANGE series

ROLL FLANGE is the range of plastic solutions designed to package and protect rolls using side flanges. Their purpose is to protect roll edges, enable stacking and keep rolls suspended in horizontal position without contact damage. Highly reusable and durable, they represent the ideal alternative to wooden flanges, improving hygiene, safety and material protection throughout storage and transport.
