Sensitive Materials Handling

Sensitive materials handling is the handling of rolls whose surface or winding must not be marked: thin films, food and pharma laminates, light-gauge aluminium foil, coated or adhesive substrates. A roll resting on its own weight is pressed along one line, and on these materials the first wound layers are damaged.

The products in this collection keep the roll off its surface or support it on a shaped seat. End walls and end pads with core plugs (FL and PL series) carry the roll by the core in suspended packaging. Combo saddles and combo pallets (CO01-W, CO02-W, RC69 series) hold the roll in a saddle, and the PCU-80 cardboard stacker separates the layers.
